Courtney Lee
Since 2018, Courtney has been an Evaluation and Learning Manager within the evaluation practice of Grassroots Solutions. Her work involves the evaluation of a complex, multi-year, and multi-county philanthropic climate change program and its strategy. Leading extensive data collection, as well as analysis and storytelling, she helps facilitate strategic learning opportunities to build out and refine program strategy and theory of change for the MacArthur Foundation.
Courtney has been deeply rooted in clean energy and climate issues for 12 years and is ever more excited about embracing and bringing in justice and equity within the climate space. Prior to joining Grassroots Solutions, Courtney worked at the National Renewable Energy Lab where she researched and analyzed solar on contaminated lands across the U.S. She also designed and analyzed multiple community surveys while at RRC Associates and organized several clean energy and sustainability workshops for the Michigan Green Communities Network.
Courtney is based in Boulder, Colorado, and enjoys being outside skiing, biking, and hiking. It is her connection with the outdoors that keeps her grounded in her work with the environment and climate.
