Suzanne Del Rosario
Suzanne del Rosario is a Project Manager with Grassroots Solutions. She joined the firm in August of 2020. In her role, Suzanne plans and oversees client projects, manages expectations and responsibilities, and conducts data collection and analysis.
Suzanne works with large philanthropic funders to assess and explore challenging questions around how to diversify funding strategies in a particular field to building a grassroots base for a particular movement. She is fortunate to be in a position where her skillsets are utilized to create equitable change in fields where historically marginalized communities are often overlooked. With her particular background, Suzanne has the ability to build trust and relationships with clients and stakeholders that is meaningfully transactional for both parties.
Prior to joining Grassroots Solutions, Suzanne was an Outreach Paralegal with Southern Poverty Law Center. At the Center, she worked with a team focused on investigating living, medical, and mental health conditions at immigration detention centers across the nation. In addition to legal advocacy, she led and fostered meaningful relationships with grassroots organizations and community advocates in the Southeast region focused on immigrant’s rights and ending mass incarceration.
During undergrad, Suzanne traveled to Nepal, Jordan, and Chile to research the role of women in social and political movements; and traveled to Trinidad & Tobago and Costa Rica to conduct comparative research about the legal protections of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the Caribbean.
She received her B.A.s in Public Policy & Law and Human Rights from Trinity College, in Hartford, Connecticut in 2018. During her personal time, Suzanne is a founding member and Chief Research Analyst at Foundations of Freedom, a non-profit aimed to economically empower communities of the African diaspora through activism, campaigning, and education. Suzanne is also fluent in American Sign Language and Spanish, which she learned from her parents and family.
